Goa Tourism Makes a Mark at ITB Asia 2024, Showcasing Its Stunning Attractions and Future Vision

Goa Tourism is making a strong impact at ITB Asia 2024. It is captivating international audiences with its stunning attractions, innovative offerings, and forward-looking tourism strategies.

The event is taking place in Singapore from October 23 to 25, 2024. As one of the leading travel trade exhibitions in Asia, ITB Asia provides an excellent platform for Goa. On the inaugural day, Goa Tourism’s pavilion attracted significant attention. It was represented by Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director of Goa Tourism, along with Mr. Gavin Dias, General Manager of Marketing, Hotels & IT at the Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., and Mr. Dhiraj R. Vagle, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa. Their booth, located at B2 Stand No. M51, is dedicated to showcasing Goa’s diverse tourism offerings.

To enhance tourism, Goa is introducing several new attractions for both domestic and international visitors. Notable additions include bungee jumping and hot air ballooning. These activities offer thrilling ways to experience Goa’s breathtaking landscapes. Guests can enjoy stunning views from both land and air, enriching the adventure tourism sector. Moreover, visitors can engage in trekking, kayaking, parasailing, and other eco-friendly outdoor activities that highlight the state’s commitment to sustainable tourism.

In addition to adventure, Goa is focused on preserving and showcasing its cultural heritage. Engaging experiences allow visitors to explore the state’s rich history, vibrant arts, and traditional lifestyles. During ITB Asia, Goa Tourism aims to build connections with global travel operators, media representatives, and other key stakeholders. Mr. Anchipaka, Mr. Dias, and Mr. Vagle are actively engaging with attendees, emphasizing Goa’s initiatives for sustainable tourism development. They also stress the importance of regenerative tourism in achieving these goals.

Furthermore, it has formed a strategic partnership with the All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa, under the Ministry of AYUSH. This collaboration aims to enhance wellness tourism in the region.
